About the course
Treating lips properly is the key to success. Many patients would get lip injections because of these 3 facts:
1) the lips remain natural
2) the treatment is not painful
3) there is no long downtime, because of e.g. bruises
The course shows all the necessary anatomy to understand how the upper and lower lip is constructed. The dental apparatus, the bony structure and the soft tissues with musculature and fatty tissue play an essential role in the shape and structure of the human lip.
The correct choice of fillers and technique – whether needle technique or injection with cannula – are explained in detail and treatment concepts are taught step by step.
By booking this course you will get access to the online course videos. As a Member you can also acquire additional knowledge in the Video Portal. After a theoretical online examination, we look forward to the joint hands-on training. Attention: The theory part must be completed before the hands-on training starts.
What will I learn?
- Perioral anatomy (bone, muscle and vessels)
- The treatment of the upper and lower lip with different techniques: Needle and Cannula, Russian Lips and Tenting Technique.
- Proportions and landmarks of the lips
- The use of botulinum toxin for Gummy Smile, Lip Flip, corners of the mouth and the chin.
